A short walk from Aoto Station, Cafe George operates as a cafe while turning out a serious roster of curries. A lunchtime staple is the European-style beef curry, featuring generous cuts of beef stewed until meltingly tender in a deeply flavorful, gently spiced sauce. The kitchen also turns its hand to an Indian-style chicken curry lifted with coconut aroma and savory chicken depth, crisp pork loin cutlet curry, and ramen served in a dashi-infused curry soup—dishes well-suited to curry enthusiasts.
Alongside the curries, freshly baked waffles are the house's other mainstay. Made with milk and fresh eggs, the plain waffle carries a rich aroma of butter and can be enjoyed like a cake with custard, whipped cream, and syrup.
